Archive for May, 2012

This post contains two recordings of phone calls with Manchester BNP organiser Gordon Gee in November, 1990.

Searchlight journalist, Steve Tilzey, dupes Gee into, first, believing he is Terry, a BNP official, and secondly, following a Searchlight article using the intellegience gathered, David Howarth, a BNP security officer.

This recording includes comments on Holocaust News and National Socialism. “JT” is mentioned this is BNP leader John Tyndall.

This recording hears Tilzey telling off Gee for having a mole within his organisation

The recordings may be quiet. I suggest using headphones, earphones or speakers. Turn the bass down too.

I found this perception from the Seattle based United Front Against Fascism of the October 1997 International Militant Anti-Fascism Conference which AFA held in London.

Bit bored of revision at the moment so I thought I’d put some new material I’ve recently found.

I’ve got loads left to be uploaded. In June I’m going to put up the remaining material and re-organise the blog.

Some new additions:

Also, check out the fantastic documentary on French anti-fascist gangs!

My Thesis

Well this blog began in February as a way of making public all the material I had been given and discovered. I felt some of AFA’s primary material was at risk of being lost and, at the very least, not being widely available for those, like me, wishing to study AFA.

The material has been viewed on every continent  and I have received a number of emails about how the blog has helped with their personal study of anti-fascism. One was from Dr. Evan Smith at Flinders University in Adelaide, Australia.

Although I’m not going to upload my thesis until it is marked (20th June) I will post my bibliography and a word cloud, mostly for my own memory recording.

I’d like to thank JH, LH, DC, DP, GO, LO, ST, SM, CW, SL and BH for their support and help. Much appreciated, seriously.

I have found a number of interviews with members of Blaggers ITA:
